Amanda Lee Joins Community Link as New Associate Director of Day Program
Breese, IL – Community Link is excited to announce Amanda Lee as the new Associate Director of Adult Day Programs for the Breese East location.
The organization is focused on transforming its day program into an “inside-out” model, emphasizing greater engagement beyond its walls and increased presence in the community. Lee shares in this vision and, at Community Link, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Breese East building. In this role, Lee will supervise staff, manage scheduling, coordinate participant activities, and help expand community integration and opportunities for participants, among other responsibilities.
With a Masters in Recreation Administration and Personnel, Lee has over 20 years of experience in the social services field, specifically with mental health services and the developmental disability population.
Before Community Link, she worked as an Assistant CILA Coordinator and Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional at The TDL Group, Incorporated, from 2021 to 2025. There she coordinated efforts of the service team and program staff to ensure that each client they served was receiving optimum services geared to their specific needs.
“Amanda brings a great deal of passion and enthusiasm for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities,” said Laurie Henken, Director of Adult Day Programs at Community Link. “Combined with her years of experience in both the disability and mental health fields, she is an excellent fit for this role. I’m excited to see Amanda thrive and bring her energy to our Day Program as a whole, and especially to the Breese East location.”
