Adult Day Services
Community Link’s Adult Day Services are person-centered, individualized, promote personal growth and encompass a variety of skill building opportunities for persons 18 and older who have a developmental disability. Learning opportunities are available in the areas of life skills, vocational and work supports.
The programs ensure quality services through accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and licensure surveys by the Illinois Department of Human Services as well as utilizing input from persons served and other stakeholders for program improvements.
Services are provided at three locations: Breese East, Breese West and Fairview Heights Metro.
Building Skills for Daily Living
Community Day Services is a comprehensive program spanning multiple counties with main locations in Breese and Fairview Heights. The hours of service are Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The program offers person-centered services that are driven by the desires and needs of each participant. Services and supports are provided by qualified, certified Direct Support Professionals who utilize the community, classrooms and work experiences to foster growth and to enhance the quality of life of our participants.
Participants may work one on one with staff for personal goals and also participate in group activities which may include art, exercise, music and movement, reading, sensory stimulation, cooking, birthday celebrations, dance classes or gardening.
To ensure the safety and well-being of participants, a registered nurse is onsite. All program staff is certified in First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
