Community Link Board of Directors Elect New Officers

Breese, IL – Community Link has begun a new fiscal year, and the organization’s board of directors is excited to announce their newly elected officers.

The newly elected board president is Bill Becker. Becker has been a member of the board since 2022 and now steps into the role of president. He and his wife, Joanne, reside in Breese. Judge Becker is a graduate of Washington University School of Law and practiced law for 42 years. In 2001, he became an Associate Circuit Judge for the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois and served in that role until 2017.

Teresa Sudholt was elected to serve as the new treasurer of the board. She begins her second year of service on the Community Link Board of Directors. Sudholt retired as a branch manager of Scott Credit Union in Breese. Sudholt has served her community as the treasurer of Aviston 150 organization, for 4 years on the Aviston school board, as a youth ministry coordinator, and as chairman of the market day school fundraiser.

Community Link is grateful for the continued commitment of Tara Hilmes and Bailey Rinella, who have been reelected as vice president and secretary, respectively. Hilmes is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 17 years of experience in the medical field, owner of Eterna Beauty and Wellness in Highland, and a previous employee of Community Link. Rinella is currently the director of apprenticeship and training for CyberUp, a nonprofit created to strengthen the cybersecurity workforce.

John Huelskamp, Community Link executive director stated, “Community Link is fortunate to have such experienced, passionate, and mission-based individuals like Bill and Teresa step up into board leadership positions. We look forward to the application of their talents in their new roles.”

Community Link is grateful to former board president Ron Foppe and former board treasurer Jeff Niemeyer who will remain on the board through October as they fulfill the remainder of their terms.
