Katie Kuhl is New Communications & Outreach Manager.
Breese, IL – Community Link is pleased to announce the hiring of Katie Kuhl as Communications and Outreach Manager.
Kuhl is originally from Nashville, IL. She worked previously as an Aquatics Director for the YMCA, having been around the pool most of her life. She attended Miami University of Ohio on a swimming scholarship and received a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Public Health, with an emphasis in Health Promotion.
From her time with the YMCA, Kuhl gained lots of experience and insight into nonprofits, particularly with fundraising and event management. She is excited to be part of a nonprofit organization that affects the lives of others in such an impactful and positive way, and has enjoyed coordinating the Buddy Walk.
In her position, she will help Community Link spread its message by sharing news and updates through press releases, social media, and stories. As a part of the development team, Kuhl will be active in event planning and fundraising for the organization. She will be in constant communication with the community and will be coordinating with volunteers, especially at the Community Link Buddy Walks and galas.
“Katie’s enthusiasm is contagious,” said Michelle Delfel, director of donor engagement at Community Link. “Her passion for our mission shines, especially as we prepared for the Buddy Walk. She will be continually in contact with our generous stakeholders, volunteers, and friends to keep all informed of the great things happening at Community Link every day.”
