Breese, IL – Community Link is pleased to welcome Dr. Jonathan Osborn to its Board of Directors. As a retired family physician, Osborn served the Clinton County community for 39 years. In retirement, he continues to give back as a board member to further strengthen Community Link’s mission of supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Dr. Osborn completed his medical residency training at McMaster University, a top tier Canadian research university in Hamilton, Ontario, with extensive experience in primary care medicine.
After moving to Breese, he created the Clinton County Rural Health practice at HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he built long-term relationships with patients and their families while addressing a wide range of health needs from preventative care to managing chronic conditions. His bilingual abilities, speaking English and Spanish, allowed him to connect with a diverse patient population.
In addition to his professional contributions to the community, he has been a member of the Breese Lions Club and has served as secretary of the board of directors for HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese. In his free time, he enjoys golf and spending time with family.
“Our Community Link team is thrilled to have Dr. Osborn join our Board of Directors,” said John Huelskamp, Community Link’s Executive Director. “Dr. Osborn’s knowledge, previous board experience, and long-term service to our community make him a significant value-add to our organization.”
