Paulette Evans & Theresa Morrison Join Board

Ms. Paulette Evans and Ms. Theresa Morrison recently joined the Board of Directors at Community Link.

Employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese for 43 years, Ms. Evans most recently served and retired as the Chief Executive Officer. She holds her master’s degree in nursing. She also volunteers on the St. Joseph’s Hospital Board of Directors, McKendree University Honor Society, Clinton County Health Board and Clinton County Emergency Preparedness Committee. Ms. Evans resides in Carlyle. She stated, “Community Link has done and continues to do great things. I want to be a part of their history and to help make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities.”

Ms. Morrison spent her professional life teaching special education. She developed the first autistic classroom for the Triad School District. Her son, Alex, has been with Community Link since high school and has lived in one of their CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) homes for 15 years. Ms. Morrison resides in Edwardsville. She stated, “It was a real honor for me to be asked to join the Board. I researched a variety of facilities and I honestly feel that Community Link is the most superior organization that serves the developmentally disabled.”

John Huelskamp, Community Link Executive Director stated, “We are excited to have both Paulette and Theresa on our board. They both bring a unique background that will be an asset to our organization.”
