Direct Support Staff

  • Various open positions in our residential program
  • Adults with developmental disabilities are looking for people that will support them in various activities of their daily lives in their homes
  • Duties include:  assisting the individuals with all aspects of home living; cooking, cleaning, personal development & recreational activities. 
  • Must have a High School Diploma/ GED, be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license
  • Prefer experience as a DSP/CNA, but will provide training  

Direct Support Staff\ Community Integrated Living Specialist - Midnights

  • Full time positions with benefits & competitive wages in our residential homes
  • (11p-9am) positions available in Breese & Germantown residential homes
  • Adults with developmental disabilities are looking for a person who will support them in various activities of their daily lives in their homes
  • Duties include: assisting the individuals with all aspects of home living; cooking, cleaning, personal development, recreational activities
  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED, be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license

Direct Support Staff/ Community Integrated Living Specialist - evenings

  • Full time positions with benefits & competitive wages in our residential homes
  • (3p-11p) positions available in our Breese residential home
  • Adults with developmental disabilities are looking for a person who will support them in various activities of their daily lives in their home
  • Duties include: assisting the individuals with all aspects of home living; cooking, cleaning, personal development, recreational activities
  • Must have a High School diploma/GED, be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license
  • Prefer experience as DSP/CNA, but will provide paid training

Community Activities Specialist

  • Part-time position 
  • Consult & plan community activities, which allow individuals to utilize community resources and develop natural supports.
  • Provide transportation for clients to various activities and appointments through the use of agency or own vehicle
  • Provide training & guidance in the areas of activities of daily living, community integration, and economic self-sufficiency skills
  • Provide direct personal care or oversight as needed
  • Ensure medication needs are met by monitoring and documenting medication regimen.
  • Must have HS diploma/GED, be over 18 years old
  • Must have clean driving history
  • Experience working in a residential setting with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.  

 

Direct Support Professional / Community Integrated Living Specialist - PRN

  • Part-time/PRN positions (as needed) with competitive wages (days, evenings, overnights)
  • Seeking a dependable & motivated staff to work with adults with developmental disabilities in classroom, production and/or residential settings
  • Duties include: assisting clients with daily living skills and supporting individuals in various activities in their daily lives ( work setting, classroom setting, residential setting)
  • Must have High School Diploma/GED and be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license  
Advanced Degree Positions -  Associates Degree or Higher Required 

  RN- Nurse Trainer / Supported Living Health Coordinator

  • Full time with benefits
  • Addresses various health & medication needs on a daily basis
  • Reports on individual's health & wellness to team as well as guardians and/or families as required
  • Establishes constructive working relationships with individuals, managers, guardians/families in order to ensure health needs of the individuals are met.
  • Provide on-going training and development of staff regarding medical issues and medication administration Rule 116; ensuring compliance with the rule and it's guidelines including observations and documentation
  • Current IL RN license
  • 2 years clinical experience in the last 5 years and prefer 1 year experience working directly with individuals with Developmental Disabilities
  • Training experience preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license

 

 

 Benefits for Full Time Employees:

Holidays - 14 paid holidays per year

Paid vacation & sick leave -  10 days vacation  & 6 sick days first year  (incremental increases in both based on years of service)

Medical Insurance - Agency pays 100% of the employee's premium (dependent coverage available at employees' expense)

  • High Deductible Health Plan 
  • Agency will reimburse up to $2000 of in-network deductible back to the employee

Dental Insurance - Agency pays 100% of the employee's  premium (dependent coverage available at employees' expense)

  • plan pays 80% for minor services
  • plan pays 50% for major services

Life Insurance - Agency pays for a $25,000 life policy for the employee (you can elect additional coverage as well as dependent coverage at a cost to the employee)

Long Term Disability - Agency pays 100% of premium for long term care insurance on the employee (covers 60% of wages after 90 days)

401k retirement plan  - Agency contributes 2% of employee's base salary & will match up to an additional 2%, after 1 year of employment.

Additional elective benefit coverages at a cost to the employee
