Direct Support Staff

  • (3p-11p) positions available in our Nashville & Trenton  residential homes
  • Adults with developmental disabilities are looking for a person who will support them in various activities of their daily lives in their home
  • Duties include: assisting the individuals with all aspects of home living; cooking, cleaning, personal development, recreational activities
  • Must have a High School diploma/GED, be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license
  • Prefer experience as DSP/CNA, but will provide paid training

Community Activities Specialist

  • Part-time position 
  • Consult & plan community activities, which allow individuals to utilize community resources and develop natural supports.
  • Provide transportation for clients to various activities and appointments through the use of agency or own vehicle
  • Provide training & guidance in the areas of activities of daily living, community integration, and economic self-sufficiency skills
  • Provide direct personal care or oversight as needed
  • Ensure medication needs are met by monitoring and documenting medication regimen.
  • Must have HS diploma/GED, be over 18 years old
  • Must have clean driving history
  • Experience working in a residential setting with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.  

  Direct Support Professional / Community Integrated Living Specialist - PRN

  • Part-time/PRN positions (as needed) with competitive wages (days, evenings, overnights)
  • Seeking a dependable & motivated staff to work with adults with developmental disabilities in classroom, production and/or residential settings
  • Duties include: assisting clients with daily living skills and supporting individuals in various activities in their daily lives ( work setting, classroom setting, residential setting)
  • Must have High School Diploma/GED and be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license  
Advanced Degree Positions -  Associates Degree or Higher Required 

  Parent Educator

  • Full-time with benefits
  • Provide community based early education services to parents with infants & toddlers as well as pregnant mothers
  • Completes developmental, behavioral & sensory screenings for all children on caseload and address concerns when necessary
  • Ensures that each family has access to comprehensive services by consulting with staff & external providers to implement practices that support high quality services to families
  • 1 year experience working with families with children birth to age 5
  • Must have Child Development Associate(CDA) or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Parents-As-Teachers Certification preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Team Leader Residential 

  • Full-time position with benefits
  • Responsible for supervision of staff, and implementing agency's policies, procedures & applicable laws, 
  • Responsible for daily operation of the home, client medical management & personnel management
  • Establish staffing patterns in the home to ensure individual needs & choices are supported
  • Organize & direct activities for the overall operations of the home 
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field preferred, or 2 years experience/training related to caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or other special needs populations
  •  1 year supervisory experience required
  • Experience working in a residential setting

 

Residential Program Manager

  • Full time management position with benefits
  • Ensures individuals are provided the opportunity to engage in the community, developing relationships necessary for employment, volunteerism, development of personal interests & social experiences.
  • Reports on progress regarding goals & tasks set forth in the annual plan to ensure it continues to meet the needs & choices of the person
  • Establish constructive working relationships with the participants & their support network to ensure the needs & desires are being met
  • Ensure the agencies strategic plan, policies & philosophy are communicated & understood by participants & staff
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field is required (including psychology, sociology, special education, or rehabilitation counseling)
  • 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Supervisory experience

Executive Director

  • Full time with benefits
  • Embrace the agency's vision & core values, provides leadership to accomplish mission.
  • Leads all aspects of the administration, program, and general operation of the agency & achieve the overall goals of the strategic plan
  • Other key duties include fundraising, marketing and community outreach
  • Major responsibilities include Board Governance; Financial performance & viability;  Mission & Strategy; Operations; Supervisory responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • 5 or more years related experience in a social service agency or not-for-profit preferred
  • Must have a high degree of professionalism

 

 Benefits for Full Time Employees:

Holidays - 14 paid holidays per year

Paid vacation & sick leave -  10 days vacation  & 6 sick days first year  (incremental increases in both based on years of service)

Medical Insurance - Agency pays 100% of the employee's premium (dependent coverage available at employees' expense)

  • Agency will reimburse up to $2000 of in-network deductible back to the employee

Dental Insurance - Agency pays 100% of the employee's  premium (dependent coverage available at employees' expense)

Life Insurance - Agency pays for a $25,000 life policy for the employee (you can elect additional coverage as well as dependent coverage at a cost to the employee)

Long Term Disability - Agency pays 100% of premium for long term care insurance on the employee (covers 60% of wages after 90 days)

401k retirement plan  - Agency contributes 2% of employee's base salary & will match up to an additional 2%, after 1 year of employment.
