  • Adults with developmental disabilities are looking for a person who will support them in various activities of their daily lives in their homes
  • Duties include: assisting the individuals with all aspects of home living; cooking, cleaning, personal development, recreational activities
  • Must have a High School Diploma/GED, be at least 18 years old & have a valid driver's license
  • Prefer experience as DSP/CNA, but will provide training

 

Community Activities Specialist

  • Part-time position 
  • Consult & plan community activities, which allow individuals to utilize community resources and develop natural supports.
  • Provide transportation for clients to various activities and appointments through the use of agency or own vehicle
  • Provide training & guidance in the areas of activities of daily living, community integration, and economic self sufficiency skills
  • Provide direct personal care or oversight as needed
  • Ensure medication needs are met by monitoring and documenting medication regimen.
  • Must have HS diploma/GED, be over 18 years old
  • Must have clean driving history
  • Experience working in a residential setting with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.

  • Ensure location building is kept clean, well-maintained, and safe on a daily basis
  • Perform all aspects of cleaning, ensures efficient flow & timely completion of work orders
  • Engages in painting & performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishing of the buildings as well as assist with larger projects.  
  • Monitor & controls supplies & equipment, prepares and submits requisition for supplies and tools as necessary ensuring cost efficiency

  • ensures that each family has access to comprehensive services by consulting with staff and external providers to implement practices that support high quality services to families
  • Parents-As-Teachers Certification  preferred
  • 1 year experience working with families with children birth to age 5
  • Must have a Child Development Associate (CDA) or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate's degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Must have a valid driver's license  & auto insurance

  • Participate as a member of the individuals support network
  • Responsible for supervision of direct care staff including interviewing, hiring, coaching, directing, appraising, rewarding & disciplining staff
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field required ( including psychology, sociology, special education or rehabilitation counseling)
  • 1 year experience working with individuals with Intellectual or other Developmental Disabilities
  • Supervisory experience preferred

  • Ensures individuals are provided the opportunity to engage in the community, developing relationships necessary for employment, volunteerism, development of personal interests & social experiences.
  • Reports on progress regarding goals & tasks set forth in the annual plan to ensure it continues to meet the needs & choices of the person. 
  • Establish constructive working relationships with the participants & their support network to ensure the needs & desires are being met
  • Participate as a member of the individuals support network
  • Protect the financial interests of participants by monitoring all money management transactions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field required ( including psychology, sociology, special education or rehabilitation counseling)

Accounting Manager
  • Full-time management position
  • Responsible for tracking, monitoring & evaluating day-to-day accounting tasks and activities of the accounting team. 
  • Ensures accurate & timely financial transactions are completed in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Reconcile payroll transactions and ensure filing of quarterly tax reports
  • Organize, inspect & maintain financial records. 
  • Supervise train & support accounting staff.
  • Assumes responsibility for effectively researching, tracking & resolving accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting
  • Two years accounting & supervisory experience preferred.

  • Full-time management position
  • Provides leadership and strategic direction for the financial, technological, and maintenance activities of the overall organization of the agency.
  • Assists the Executive Director in formulating and administering agency policies and procedures.
  • Acts as Risk Manager of the organization and advises management on key elements of the agency's risk profile, ensures internal controls, implements best practices & maintains insurance coverage for protection against property losses & potential liabilities.
  • Prepare necessary reports and execute the federal and state requirements as well as the lawful and ethical standards required to maintain the organization's nonprofit 501(c) (3) status. 
  • Ensures efficient transaction processing systems, debt financing, cash balances and maintains banking relationships.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance required (Master's/ CPA preferred)
