Direct Support Professional / Community Integrated Living Specialist - PRN

  • Part-time/PRN positions (as needed) with competitive wages (days, evenings, overnights)
  • Seeking a dependable & motivated staff to work with adults with developmental disabilities in classroom, production and/or residential settings
  • Duties include: assisting clients with daily living skills and supporting individuals in various activities in their daily lives ( work setting, classroom setting, residential setting)

Barista

  • part-time positions
  • assist customers in making product selections based on preferences & interest
  • prepare & serve food and drink items by following prescribed cafe recipes 
  • receive & process payments
  • stock supplies, wash dishes, bus & clean tables and equipment per set procedures
  • follow all rules & regulations pertaining to the operation of the cafe, including completion of any IL Dept of Health training & certifications
  • must be 18
  • prefer barista experience

 

Advanced Degree Positions -  Associates Degree or Higher Required  

 Family Educator

  • Full time with benefits
  • Flexible hours depending on needs of the home
  • Provide community based early education to parents with infants & toddlers as well as pregnant mothers
  • Completes developmental, behavioral & sensory screenings for all children on caseload and addresses concerns when necessary
  • Provides prenatal education to expectant women & families
  • Uses Parents-As-Teacher curriculum to work with parents & guardians to educate children in the home
  • Conducts weekly home visits with low-income families in Clinton & Washington Counties. (Due to Covid-19 visits are conducted virtually.)
  • 1 year experience working with children birth to age 5
  • Required CDA (Child Development Associate) or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  • Must have a valid driver's license & auto insurance
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required
  • Must be proficient in using technology

 

 Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse 

  • Full time salaried with benefits
  • Full member of the participants support network by providing health & medical information important to the wellness of the individuals supported
  • Complete assessments in order to monitor participant health and make recommendations 
  • Addresses various health & medication needs on a daily basis including assessments of health condition and implementation of medication changes via E-MAR system
  • Provide 24 hour on call nursing as part of a rotating call schedule
  • Reports on individual's health & wellness to team as well as guardians and/or families as required
  • Ensure agency policies & procedures related to good health & medication administration are communicated & understood by subordinates as well as provide on-going training & development of staff regarding medical issues, CPR/FAID; ensuring compliance with the rule & its guidelines including observations & documentation
  • provide nursing assistance to the Community Day Service program as appropriate
  • Current IL RN license or LPN license
  • 2 years clinical experience within the last 5 years
  • 1 year experience working directly with individuals with Developmental Disabilities preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Training experience preferred

 

  Director of Donor Engagement

  • Full time exempt position
  • Responsible for planning, building & sustaining fundraising & communication activities to prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, foundations & civic organizations.
  • Provides strategic leadership for the Agency's multi-faceted fundraising & advancement efforts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nonprofit management, marketing, communications or related field
  • 4 years senior experience directing a comprehensive fundraising & marketing program.
  • Demonstrated success as a development/marketing/community relations executive with the ability to effectively create & implement marketing & communication strategies

Holidays - 12 paid holidays per year

Paid vacation & sick leave -  10 days vacation  & 6 sick days first year  (incremental increases in both based on years of service)

401k retirement plan  - Agency contributes 2% of employee's base salary & will match up to an additional 2%, after 1 year of employment.
